I wanted to love these pants so much, but was left incredibly disappointed. I thought about buying these for months - they are not a cheap pair of jeans, but after not being able to shake the thought of them, I decided to splurge. First of all, if things are being cut and printed to order, I would like to see them offer different length. I'm a tall girly, and I usually look for a 34 in inseam, but this was is 33 inches which is good for when I wear flats. Unfortunately, the inseam is not as advertised and is slightly short (closer to 32 inches). But beyond that, the quality of the finishings is laughable - cheap flimsy buttons, and a cheap zipper that doesn't open and close smoothly. They are also supposed to be "gold" coloured but they are like patinaed brass. I have $20 jeans with better quality finishing. The quality of the fabric is ok, but poorer than expected considering the price. Also, something that is not entirely the company's fault - my package was completely manhandled by customs (I'm a Canadian shopper). DIJ hadn't provided a customs form on the box (I do part time eBay sales, and even I know to do that!) so customs pried open the box before shoving the jeans back inside and sealing it back up. In all my years of online shopping, I have never received a package in such poor condition.
Even before adding taxes, shipping and fees - these jeans are NOT worth the price.
Also, one of the items was removed from my order because of stock. They refunded the listing price of the item but not the additional taxes and shipping fees I paid for that item. That is poor business practice at minimum and and I will be following up with their customer service team about it! I wanted to support what seemed to be a cool small business, but never again! :(
