With all the craziness of Fashion week (month, really), it's easy to get caught up in awe by the major players and names that everyone knows. I like to dig a little deeper and find the not-so-known designers because often times, it's where you find the most creativity!
As is quite apparent by my curated selection of pieces, I LOVE a good print. When I came across Whit, I instantly fell head over heels. Funny enough, I had attended a launch event for the website PreeLine (fashion influencers, go check it out!), at which there was a discussion with a lovely young designer named Whitney Pozgay. She gave some really great insight into how she went from the buying world to designer and what it's like now, running a business with her husband. I do remember her gushing about her love of prints and incorporating them into her designs, but I didn't even put 2+2 together that Whitney was the designer of one of my (now) new favorite brands!
Like some of my other favorite print-infused brands, Whitney (and her husband) creates very wearable prints that never feel over done. With her forward and crisp designs, she plays with proportions and of course, my favorite, mixing prints. Whitney is a master at making mixed prints look like they belong together, which you see in each of her collections.
