I can't even explain the excitement this editorial gave me. My heart is still beating faster than normal, the little hairs on the back of my neck *just* started to lay back down, and I'm finally able to form a full sentence.
THIS is what makes me love everything about prints. Zimmermann isn't really for everyone, but out of all of their collections so far, this one is most definitely my favorite. It's over the top in the best way possible.
Nicky Zimmermann (who runs the label with her sister Simone), told Vogue that the collection is "about optimism." Perhaps it's because of my personal love of admiration for the art of mixing prints, but this collection most definitely sparked a sense of optimism within me. This editorial is on another level, one which I aspire to reach at some point in my career.
